I am a Consultant Solicitor-Advocate (Legal Consultant) practicing in England and Wales. I am also qualified to practice as a Barrister & Solicitor in Nigeria. I am known for using  ingenuity to find answers to complex legal questions. I  hold an LLB – Bachelor of Laws degree from University of Nigeria, and an LLM – Master of Laws degree in e-commerce and maritime law from University of Hertfordshire, UK. In addition, I have OND - Ordinary National Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Federal Polytechnic Nekede-Owerri, Nigeria. I am also  working towards professional certfications in Business Analysis and Information Security Governance/Risk Management.   

I have successfully represented clients in the County Courts/Tribunals, and have on two occasions (with special permissions) argued Judicial Review cases at the High Court, London. Two of my immigration appeal cases are published on the website of  the Upper Tribunal (Immigration & Asylum Chamber):IA/25969/2013; IA/21548/2013.     I have also made strong legal arguments to the Tribunals, County Courts,  High Court and Court of Appeal many of which have been successful on paper hearings  or  upon  instructions of counsel.


Whilst practicing law in Nigeria, I was part of the Legal Team that successfully advised and represented:

• CPL Industries Ltd of Nigeria against GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in a dispute concerning the ownership of the trademark comprised in the popular eclipse device and logo which GSK is using to market its paracetamol-based pain reliever, “Panadol”, in Nigeria;

•        Group Danone of France at the Nigeria’s Trademark Registry, in opposing the registration of the Trademark “La Voltic” by a Nigerian company, Voltic (Nig.) Ltd;

•      Societe Bic S.A of France in the various intellectual property rights infringement and passing-off suits the company instituted against several Nigerian companies who are infringing its registered world-famous trademark, “BIC” as well as its patented hexagonal-shaped barrel for the Bic Ball Point Pens;

• The legacy Citizens International Bank Ltd in the bank’s merger deal with 5 other Nigerian banks to form Sky Bank Plc;

•EIL UK Ltd in the company’s core investment transactions with a Nigerian based company, Union Ventures and Petroleum Plc.


I also assisted the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigeria, Lagos State Branch in handling some of their free women and children rights cases including litigation, counselling and mediation services.
